Null Rod stays in the sideboard for this matchup. It stops activated abilities of all artifacts, including mana abilities, so it would shut off our own Chrome Mox, The One Ring and Lavaspur Boots' equip. In return it only stops Mishra's Bauble, since the rest of their deck has no artifacts. Fiery Confluence answers small creatures like Moonshadow while it is still shrunk by its -1/-1 counters, and the Orc Army token from Orcish Bowmasters. It also chips at their life total, and it can two-for-one by hitting multiple 1-toughness threats. Choose its modes carefully, because the damage-to-creatures mode hits our own creatures too. Sundering Eruption's land destruction mode is less impactful against a deck that floods on fetches and doesn't rely on a single nonbasic linchpin, so those slots go to Fiery Confluence.
