Mystic Forge Combo wants to assemble Urza's Saga, Urza's Workshop, and artifact mana to chain into Transmute Artifact or Tezzeret loops, so a second Karn, the Great Creator-style lock via the extra Ensnaring Bridge adds another way to stop their eventual artifact creature finishers from connecting. Mycosynth Lattice is situational but can be fetched by Karn, the Great Creator and combines with our existing lands to let us cast anything off any color while also turning off some of their colorless-matters synergies by making everything an artifact (double-edged, so sequence carefully). Sundering Eruption's land destruction is weak since this opponent runs a wide manabase of Urza's lands and Ancient Tomb that isn't a single point of failure. Our existing Chalice of the Void, Trinisphere, and Blood Moon are already premium disruption against their low-cost artifact engine and nonbasic-heavy Urza's lands, so the core plan stays mostly intact.
