Pithing Needle can name Sneak Attack to shut off their primary combo engine, forcing them back onto a much slower Show and Tell plan. Disruptor Flute can also name Sneak Attack or Show and Tell to tax it by {3}, making it much harder to deploy on curve, and since Flute has flash it can be held up as a reactive answer. Our maindeck Chalice of the Void set to 0 or 1 is already strong disruption against their cheap cantrips and artifacts like Lotus Petal, so we lean further into taxing effects rather than removal since Emrakul and Atraxa dodge most of our interaction anyway. Sundering Eruption's land destruction mode is weak against a deck that doesn't rely on a single critical nonbasic, and Lavaspur Boots doesn't help us race a deck that can win on the spot with a cheated-in Emrakul.
