Null Rod shuts off Lotus Petal, and Urza's Saga keeps working because it is an enchantment land rather than an artifact. The opponent has almost nothing else artifact-based, so the value is stopping that acceleration. The catch is that Null Rod also turns off our own artifact abilities, including The One Ring's tap ability, so it is a narrow card here. Chalice of the Void and Blood Moon remain our best proactive disruption against their Show and Tell and Aluren decks. Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon are excellent, turning off their City of Traitors, Ancient Tomb, and all nonbasic lands that fix for Aluren's green-green or Show and Tell's blue. Disruptor Flute replaces the Pithing Needle idea. Needle only stops activated abilities, so it does nothing against Aluren's static effect or the Show and Tell sorcery. Flute has flash and can name Show and Tell or Aluren so that spell costs {3} more to cast. That taxes the cards a deck wants to use to cheat Atraxa or Acererak into play, and it is not a hard lock. We trim Chrome Mox since the deck doesn't need extra fast mana against a non-aggressive combo deck, the card disadvantage is bad when grinding through Force of Will, and Null Rod would shut it off anyway. Lavaspur Boots is low-impact here since the opponent's removal is minimal, and Null Rod would stop its equip ability. Keep Fury in as a fast double-strike clock, but remember its 4 damage cannot kill a 5/5 Acererak on its own. Keep Chalice of the Void in and set it to 1 to strip their one-mana cantrips, or to 3 to hit Show and Tell.
