Death and Taxes leans on a wide creature board with Stoneforge Mystic, Recruiter of the Guard, and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, the latter of which taxes your noncreature spells and slows your combo turns. Feed the Swarm is unconditional removal that kills Thalia, Guardian of Thraben or any other creature threat outright, easing the tax problem. The extra Cabal Therapy strips a hand piece like Solitude or a key creature before you commit to comboing. Duress only hits noncreature spells and whiffs on their creature-heavy game plan, so it's cut; Beseech the Mirror is trimmed by one since resolving your plan quickly matters more than finding a perfect answer against their disruptive creatures.
