WU is loaded with Force of Will, Daze, and Consign to Memory, so our best angle is still hand disruption before they can protect a Teferi, Time Raveler or Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student. Surgical Extraction lets us remove a troublesome Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student or key cantrip from their graveyard, hand, and library to blunt their card advantage engine, replacing a Duress that can't take their many creatures such as Tamiyo, Phelia, and Quantum Riddler. Teferi, Time Raveler only forces us to cast spells at sorcery timing, so our discard still works normally on our own turn, but it does shut off instant-speed plays on their turn. We keep Thoughtseize and Cabal Therapy as our primary tools since they can take creatures and can be cast proactively before Teferi, Time Raveler resolves.
