The EPIC Storm is a hard combo deck going for Tendrils of Agony or Echo of Eons-fueled kills, so Force of Negation is premium free interaction you can hold up to counter their Burning Wish, Gamble, or Beseech the Mirror on their turn before they assemble the combo. Counterbalance can lock out their one- and two-mana spells like Dark Ritual, Chrome Mox, Lotus Petal, and Gamble if you can set it up, which is a strong plan versus a deck with a low curve. Phyrexian Dreadnought is too risky against a deck that just wants to combo off rather than fight on board, and the extra Mishra's Bauble trim keeps the deck leaner on cheap, low-impact cantrips in favor of interaction. Keep Wasteland in to pressure their mana (Lion's Eye Diamond lines, Mox Opal, Chrome Mox) and slow down their explosive starts.
