Jeskai Artifacts relies heavily on cheap artifacts like Mishra's Bauble, Lotus Petal, and Mox Opal alongside Goblin Welder/Engineer recursion, so Consign to Memory can counter their colorless artifact spells outright to deny key pieces. Faerie Macabre disrupts their Goblin Engineer/Welder graveyard recursion package by exiling artifacts from their graveyard, slowing their engine significantly. Veil of Summer is largely irrelevant since this opponent is red-blue with few black or blue spells worth dodging, so it's cut for more targeted artifact hate alongside trimming Omniscience, which is too slow against their fast combo-artifact starts.
