WU Tempo leans on cheap, resilient threats like Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd and Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student backed by Force of Will, Daze, and Stifle, so cheap unconditional removal is premium. Static Prison and Portable Hole both cleanly exile their key three-drops-or-less threats before they generate value. Warping Wail can kill a stray Quantum Riddler or counter a cheap Stifle/Daze if they're tapped out. Cut the clunkier Fleshraker and Tezzeret copies, which are too slow against a deck built to Stifle or Force your best draws.
