Sultai Aluren relies on Acererak the Archlich looping to return to hand and venture into the dungeon continuously, so an additional Force of Negation gives us more interaction against noncreature spells like Aluren, though it cannot counter Acererak itself. Barrowgoyf is a strong, resilient threat that benefits from a graveyard-fueled matchup on both sides. We trim Waterlogged Teachings, Expedition Map, and an Island since we need interaction density more than mana smoothing here, especially against their Force of Will protecting Aluren. Try to force through The One Ring or Karn, the Great Creator while their mana is tied up, and be aware Aluren affects all players — it lets them flash in cheap creatures as blockers or combo pieces at instant speed, though your own creatures with mana value 3 or less gain the same flexibility.
