UBG Reanimator's entire plan revolves around dumping Griselbrand, Atraxa, Grand Unifier, or Archon of Cruelty into the graveyard via Faithless Looting or discard outlets and reanimating them with Reanimate or Animate Dead, or returning the top creature card with Shallow Grave, so Tormod's Crypt is a cheap, proactive answer that can strip their graveyard in response to a reanimation spell or before it resolves, ideally held until they've committed a big creature to the yard. Barrowgoyf is a strong body that also benefits from a graveyard-heavy matchup on both sides. We shave Waterlogged Teachings, Expedition Map, and an Island since we need to prioritize disruption and pressure over card selection against their explosive draws. Hold up Force of Will and Force of Negation for their reanimation spells whenever possible, since countering the Reanimate or Animate Dead itself is far more efficient than answering the creature after it resolves.
