Dimir Tempo's mana value 2 cards (Orcish Bowmasters, Bilbo, and Daze) are all legal Spell Snare targets, which makes it a sharp answer to those. It can't hit their mana value 1 threats, Nethergoyf and Moonshadow, so it is not a catch-all. Force of Negation can be cast for free on their turn and counters noncreature spells such as Thoughtseize, Fatal Push, Snuff Out, Kaito, and their cantrips, so it protects our own plan. It can't touch their creature spells. Consign to Memory is narrow here since it only hits colorless spells or triggered abilities (essentially Mishra's Bauble and Bowmasters triggers), and their key threats are colored creature spells, so it comes out. Stifle still has targets in their fetchlands and Bowmasters triggers, but trimming to two leaves room for more proactive countermagic. Keep the full Wasteland and Daze suite since the mana-denial race is central to this matchup.
