Deafening Silence limits them to one noncreature spell per turn, slowing down their Teferi, Time Raveler plus removal/counterspell sequences and disrupting Day's Undoing or Supreme Verdict turns where they want to follow up. Enter the Avatar State can protect a key threat like Hollow One or Vengevine from their targeted removal (Solitude, Prismatic Ending) by granting hexproof, and the flying, first strike and lifelink help push through a lethal swing. It does nothing against non-targeted sweepers like Wrath of the Skies or Supreme Verdict, so don't count on it to save your board from those. Burning Inquiry is weak against a control deck with few cards they mind discarding and that can punish random discards with Narset, Parter of Veils restricting your card draw, so cut it. Keep your proactive game plan since you want to deploy threats faster than they can assemble their control pieces.
