Blood Moon is extremely strong against this combo deck, turning Eldrazi Temple, Ugin's Labyrinth, and Urza's Saga into Mountains and denying the colorless mana that fuels their Basking Broodscale/Blade of the Bloodchief loop and backup Eldrazi plan. Faerie Macabre can be discarded for free to exile up to two cards from graveyards, though its main value here is simply as a cheap proactive body since their deck isn't graveyard-reliant for the combo itself; it's a 2/2 flier that gives us general board presence. Burning Inquiry is removed since it doesn't interact with their mana engine and the random discard isn't worth the variance against a deck that just wants to go off. We keep our clock focused on racing before they assemble the loop, since Blood Moon alone should buy enough time.
