Eldrazi Tron ramps hard into colorless threats and planeswalkers (Karn, the Great Creator, Ugin, Eye of the Storms, Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger) using artifact mana and Tron lands, so Trinisphere taxes their cheap ramp spells like Expedition Map and Talisman of Resilience, making each cost three. It taxes our own cheap plays like Amulet of Vigor and Arboreal Grazer just as much, so deploy it deliberately. Collector Ouphe shuts off the activated abilities of their artifacts, such as Expedition Map, Talisman of Resilience, and Giant's Boulder, though it does nothing to Karn or Ugin themselves, since planeswalkers aren't artifacts. Summoner's Pact is too risky since we must pay {2}{G}{G} on our next upkeep or lose the game, and they can simply out-ramp us if our follow-up mana is disrupted. Aftermath Analyst and Cultivator Colossus are too slow against their inevitability, so they are cut. The plan is to disrupt their mana engine with Trinisphere and Collector Ouphe while racing to Primeval Titan or Scapeshift before they land a game-ending threat.
