Esper GenericBlink leans on disruption (Thoughtseize, Orcish Bowmasters) and value creatures (Solitude, Overlord of the Balemurk, Phelia) in a grindy game, so Summoner's Pact's delayed payment is risky against their hand disruption and removal, making it a cut alongside the clunky Aftermath Analyst. Stock Up provides card selection to rebuild after discard spells and dig for our next land drop or payoff. Six offers a resilient body that blocks well and grinds out card advantage over a long game. We leave our full manabase untouched since this matchup rewards consistently hitting land drops and assembling Primeval Titan or Scapeshift against their disruptive but non-aggressive game plan.
