Dimir Midrange is a tempo-oriented blue-black deck that combines hand disruption via Thoughtseize with resilient threats like Psychic Frog and Orcish Bowmasters, backed by their own counterspell suite. Narset, Parter of Veils is particularly powerful here — she shuts off Psychic Frog's discard-triggered draws and provides card selection while she's on the battlefield. Mystical Dispute upgrades your counter suite to efficiently answer their blue threats for just one mana, and Consign to Memory handles Orcish Bowmasters' triggered abilities as well as any uncounterable spells they may bring in. Teferi, Time Raveler is your most important asset: resolving him neutralizes their ability to interact on your turn and allows you to bounce their Kaito or other planeswalkers at will. Once you stabilize behind Teferi or Narset, leverage Supreme Verdict or Solitude to clear any creature threats and close with Hall of Storm Giants.
