Grixis Reanimator wins by discarding Archon of Cruelty or Abhorrent Oculus via Faithless Looting or Thought Scour, then returning them with Persist or Unearth for massive triggers — a resolved Archon at any point in the game is usually fatal. Rest in Peace is your best card and must be protected at all costs, shutting off the entire Persist and Unearth engine while also blanking Psychic Frog's graveyard synergy. Counterspell and Consign to Memory back up Rest in Peace, and Consign is particularly good at exiling their reanimation targets once they hit the battlefield. Thoughtseize into Archon can ambush you, so consider leaving up counterspell mana on their discard spell turns when possible. Your sweepers are largely useless since Archon, Emperor of Bones, and Psychic Frog aren't threatening a wide board — trim them entirely and maximize your reactive counter-suite and graveyard hate.
