Izzet Prowess wants to curve cheap spells into Cori-Steel Cutter tokens and burn you out, so Consign to Memory is excellent, countering their colorless Mishra's Bauble and any triggered abilities like Dragon's Rage Channeler surveil while Mystical Dispute cheaply stops their blue cantrips like Preordain and Expressive Iteration. Rest in Peace shuts off Lava Dart flashback and any graveyard shenanigans while incidentally hosing their sideboarded Tormod's Crypt plans. Cut the slower Prismatic Ending and clunky Tune the Narrative along with a Counterspell since tempo matters more than card quality against a low curve aggro deck. Wrath of the Skies and Solitude remain crucial to reset their board of small creatures.
