Grixis Reanimator fuels Faithless Looting and Thought Scour to dump Archon of Cruelty and other threats into the graveyard for Unearth and Persist, and Sanctifier en-Vec is devastating here: its enter-the-battlefield trigger exiles black and red cards from all graveyards, and its static replacement effect keeps their discarded and milled cards from ever reaching the graveyard at all, cutting off Unearth and Persist targets outright. Damping Sphere punishes turns where they chain Thought Scour, Faithless Looting, and Unearth together by taxing each additional spell. Consign to Memory catches Abhorrent Oculus's manifest dread trigger and any colorless permanents. Sink into Stupor, Aang, and Spell Pierce are cut since none of them stop a reanimated Archon of Cruelty or Psychic Frog's card advantage engine as effectively as denying the graveyard resource entirely.
