Culling Ritual is outstanding here, wiping their Mishra's Bauble, Mox Opal, Claws of Gix, Welding Jar, Tormod's Crypt, and Weapons Manufacturing off the board for mana value 2 or less while generating mana for us. It won't hit Pinnacle Emissary (mana value 3) or Kappa Cannoneer, so those still need to be answered another way. Buried Alive does nothing proactive against their fast artifact aggro plan and is cut for interaction. Flare of Malice is weak here since it only makes them sacrifice their highest mana value creature, and Affinity often has no creature on the board early, which leaves the spell with nothing to hit. Witherbloom Charm's destroy mode answers Engineered Explosives, Weapons Manufacturing, or a Drone token at instant speed.
