Culling Ritual is strong against Amulet Titan's cheap enabler suite, wiping Arboreal Grazer, Amulet of Vigor, and Summoner's Pact-fetched small creatures while ramping us toward our own threats. Buried Alive is too slow against a combo deck trying to assemble Scapeshift or Primeval Titan quickly, so it comes out. Flare of Malice is unreliable since Amulet Titan plays very few creatures, so it often has no good target or only hits a cheap enabler like Arboreal Grazer, making it a poor use of a black creature or four mana. Witherbloom Charm's destroy mode can snipe Amulet of Vigor or Arboreal Grazer to disrupt their mana engine.
