Thoughtseize lets us proactively strip Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer or Ajani, Nacatl Pariah before they can snowball with Guide of Souls energy triggers. Buried Alive is too slow and card-disadvantageous against a deck this fast and interactive with Galvanic Discharge and Goblin Bombardment. Witherbloom Charm's destroy mode answers Guide of Souls or Ocelot Pride cheaply at instant speed. Timeline Culler's small body isn't impactful enough against their efficient removal suite, so we trim a couple for better interaction.
