Boros Energy is aggressive and full of small creatures backed by Lightning Bolt, Galvanic Discharge, and disruption like Thraben Charm and Static Prison; March of Wretched Sorrow gives us flexible, instant-speed removal that deals damage to target creatures or planeswalkers while gaining life to stabilize against their aggressive pressure. Surgical Extraction allows us to target a key threat like Ragavan or Ocelot Pride once it hits the graveyard to exile it and strip any remaining copies from their hand and library. Force of Despair and Requiting Hex stay in as they answer their token-heavy, cheap-creature strategy (Cat tokens, Warrior tokens, Ragavan, Ocelot Pride all die to Requiting Hex). Rite of Consumption and Revitalizing Repast are cut since we don't want to be reliant on sacrificing our own bodies or protecting creatures in a race we should be trying to grind out with removal and discard.
