Thoughtseize is crucial against this combo-control deck, stripping Goryo's Vengeance or Atraxa, Grand Unifier before they can execute their reanimation plan, and it also hits their own Thoughtseize first. Buried Alive is risky here since putting Atraxa-sized threats in our own yard does nothing for us and the slot is better used disrupting their combo, so it comes out. Witherbloom Charm's destroy mode can answer Psychic Frog before it grows out of control, or the sacrifice mode draws extra cards to dig for answers. Timeline Culler's body doesn't meaningfully pressure a deck planning to reanimate Atraxa or Griselbrand, so we trim a couple for interaction.
