This is a mirror-ish graveyard-matters race, so proactive disruption matters more than our own graveyard filling. Thoughtseize strips their Thoughtseize, Flare of Malice, or a key threat like Fear of Missing Out before they can deploy their plan. Timeline Culler is a middling body against their own aggressive curve and we'd rather spend early turns disrupting hands. Witherbloom Charm can destroy their Stitcher's Supplier or Mishra's Bauble cheaply, or gain 5 life to blunt their burn package of Lightning Bolt and Unholy Heat.
