Affinity is an artifact-centric combo-aggro deck built around Urza's Saga, Mox Opal, and cheap artifact creatures like Pinnacle Emissary and Kappa Cannoneer; Brotherhood's End's artifact-destruction mode wipes out their mana rocks, Mishra's Bauble, Welding Jar, and cheap artifact creatures with mana value 3 or less in one sweep. Surgical Extraction can proactively strip a key piece like Urza's Saga, Mox Opal, or Kappa Cannoneer out of their whole deck once a copy is in a graveyard or seen, severely disrupting their consistency. Cut Galvanic Discharge and some Prismatic Ending/Pawpatch Formation since those slower one-for-one answers are less impactful than a sweeper and targeted disruption against this fast, artifact-dense combo deck. Leyline Binding remains premium removal for their bigger threats like Kappa Cannoneer.
