This Gruul Eldrazi combo deck wins by looping Basking Broodscale with Blade of the Bloodchief for infinite mana and Spawn tokens; Surgical Extraction is your best tool, letting you exile every copy of Blade of the Bloodchief (a 1-mana artifact) from their deck, hand, and graveyard once you see or discard one to the graveyard, cutting off their primary combo enabler entirely. Brotherhood's End's artifact-destruction mode also hits Blade of the Bloodchief and other cheap artifacts like Vexing Bauble, Soul-Guide Lantern, and Haywire Mite outright, while its creature-sweep mode can kill a non-adapted Basking Broodscale (2/2) before they go off. Cut slower, less-targeted answers like Pawpatch Formation, one Prismatic Ending, Valakut Awakening, and some Galvanic Discharge, since your priority is proactively removing the Blade before the loop starts rather than reactively answering a resolved combo. Leyline Binding remains excellent for exiling an assembled Broodscale before it gets out of hand.
