Mono-Green Eldrazi relies on sacrificing Spawn tokens and ramping into Emrakul, the Promised End or Devourer of Destiny, so Toxic Deluge wipes their token army and small creatures in one sweep. Dress Down, flashed in on their turn, strips Basking Broodscale's counter-trigger (stopping Spawn generation) and removes the Spawn tokens' sacrifice-for-mana ability while it's out, disrupting their ramp engine and drawing a card. Engineered Explosives answers Urza's Saga Construct tokens and Spawn at zero counters, or small artifacts like Blade of the Bloodchief with a counter, while Nihil Spellbomb exiles their graveyard, making Emrakul more expensive (its cost is reduced by each card type in their graveyard) and shutting off Shifting Woodland's delirium. Spell Snare mostly misses here since their key spells (Emrakul, Devourer, Sowing Mycospawn, Kozilek's Command) rarely cost exactly 2 and it only catches Basking Broodscale and Malevolent Rumble, so those slots come out. Sheoldred's Edict also comes out because they choose what to sacrifice and have cheap creatures to feed it, and Flow State is trimmed to make room. Subtlety is cut since putting a single big Eldrazi on the top or bottom of their library still leaves its cast trigger and the Spawn engine intact. Mystical Dispute comes in as a flexible soft counter; their spells aren't blue so it costs its full {2}{U} and they can often pay {3}, which makes it best when they're tapped low.
