Affinity is almost entirely artifacts, and Hurkyl's Recall bounces their whole board including Kappa Cannoneer, Mox Opal, and Pinnacle Emissary tokens back to hand, resetting their mana and tempo completely. Nihil Spellbomb answers their own Tormod's Crypt plan against our graveyard-based mill strategy while doubling as a cheap artifact to interact with. Crypt Incursion and Surgical Extraction are weak here since Affinity's graveyard has little relevant to attack, so we cut them for proactive artifact disruption.
