Izzet Prowess lives and dies by cheap spells — Mishra's Bauble, Lava Dart, Lightning Bolt, Mutagenic Growth, Preordain — so Trinisphere taxing everything under three mana disrupts their entire game plan while your ramp lets you play through it. Dismember kills Dragon's Rage Channeler, Monastery Swiftspear, or Slickshot Show-Off cleanly with its -5/-5 debuff, cutting through prowess boosts and delirium stats. Elder Gargaroth is a great sideboard threat here — it survives a Lightning Bolt and blocks their whole team while generating card advantage or extra bodies. Trim the slowest, least impactful top-end since this matchup is decided by resilience to burn and disruption speed, not raw power.
