Damping Sphere is excellent against Amulet Titan, capping lands tapped for 2+ mana at producing only {C}, which neutralizes Amulet of Vigor-fueled bounce lands like Simic Growth Chamber and Gruul Turf, and also taxes their spell-heavy turns from Scapeshift chains. Metallic Rebuke can counter Scapeshift, Primeval Titan, or Cultivator Colossus unless they pay {3}, which is a real cost for a deck often tapped out after ramping. Tormod's Crypt remains important against Malevolent Rumble and Green Sun's Zenith graveyard shuffle-back interactions and any incidental recursion. Claws of Gix and Pithing Needle are too narrow here, so they come out for more impactful disruption.
