Consign to Memory can't counter Leyline Binding as a spell, because Leyline Binding is white, but it can counter Leyline Binding's enters trigger so nothing gets exiled. It also counters the colorless Scion of Draco, and its Replicate helps against multiple threats. More importantly it answers Psychic Frog and Territorial Kavu triggers. Galvanic Blast kills Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer and Psychic Frog cleanly for 2 damage before it grows, or for 4 with Metalcraft against bigger threats. Salvage Titan is too slow against their efficient curve, and Claws of Gix and the Pithing Needle (little to target reliably) are cut for proactive interaction.
