Boros Energy leans on a wide creature base — Guide of Souls, Ocelot Pride, Ragavan, and Voice of Victory — backed by sweepers and sideboard disruption. Lava Dart and Mutagenic Growth are too low-impact against a deck that goes wide and has efficient answers, so trim them to make room. Thoughtseize is excellent here, stripping a Wrath of the Skies or Blood Moon before it can blow us out, and it also snags High Noon or Obsidian Charmaw from their sideboard plan. Consign to Memory earns its spots by countering triggered abilities — most notably Boromir's free-spell counter trigger, Vexing Bauble's trigger, and Static Prison's enters-the-battlefield exile effect — as well as any colorless spells they deploy. End of the Hunt can remove their highest-mana-value threat in play, cleanly answering a Ranger-Captain of Eos or Seasoned Pyromancer before it stabilizes their board. Keep the low curve pressuring their sweepers before they can find one.
