Ruby Storm wins by assembling a critical mass of rituals and card draw before going off with Grapeshot or Past in Flames, so Thoughtseize is the single best card we can bring in — strip their key piece (Ral, Monsoon Mage, Past in Flames, or a ritual) before they can chain their turn. Consign to Memory counters storm triggered abilities, letting us break up their kill sequence even after they've started going off, and both cards are cheap enough to not disrupt our own clock. We're racing as much as disrupting, so keep the mana lean and cut some lands to stay aggressive — this matchup is often decided by who is faster, and every turn we take off their clock with pressure matters as much as the discard.
