Meltdown is a strong include because Hollow One is an artifact creature, giving their deck meaningful artifact targets for Meltdown to clear. Surgical Extraction is also great here since exiling Vengevine denies them a free reanimation target, while exiling a discarded or cycled Hollow One strips their key threat from their hand and library to disrupt their explosive turns fueled by Burning Inquiry and Faithless Looting. Spell Pierce is weak against a deck that relies primarily on creature threats and discard outlets rather than expensive noncreature spells, and Thought Scour is easy to trim as redundant self-mill, so we cut both. Race them with our own graveyard plan and use Fatal Push/Thoughtseize to strip key threats before they can go wide with hasty reanimated creatures.
