Ruby Storm wants to chain cheap rituals and cantrips, so Spell Snare is excellent against their glut of two-mana spells like Desperate Ritual, Pyretic Ritual, Manamorphose, and Reckless Impulse. Dauthi Voidwalker is a fast threat with shadow that can't be blocked by their creatures, and it exiles their cards instead of letting them reach the graveyard, which blanks the flashback plan behind Past in Flames and Flashback. Pyroclasm is not brought in: it deals only 2 damage to each creature, so it can't kill a 1/3 Ral, Monsoon Mage, and it would hurt our own Psychic Frog and Emperor of Bones. Quantum Riddler and Thought Scour are too slow and don't interact with their combo turn, so they come out in favor of cheap, proactive disruption. Keep Thoughtseize and Fatal Push as our main way to strip their hand or kill Ral before they can assemble the storm count.
