Devoted Combo relies on Agatha's Soul Cauldron and Devoted Druid/Vizier of Remedies infinite mana lines, so Nature's Claim is premium removal for the Cauldron before they can abuse it. Nature's Claim also hits Walking Ballista and Leyline of Abundance, which gives it plenty of targets in this matchup. Pithing Needle can name Devoted Druid to shut off its untap ability, which the infinite mana line depends on (its tap for mana is a mana ability and still works), or it can name Agatha's Soul Cauldron or Walking Ballista to stop their activated abilities. Vexing Bauble is weak since their combo pieces are all hard-cast for mana, and Blade of the Bloodchief is too slow and low-impact against a combo deck racing to assemble infinite mana, so both are cut. Focus on disruption over incremental value since this matchup is about denying their engine before they go off.
