Goryo's Vengeance wants to discard Atraxa, Grand Unifier or Griselbrand and reanimate it directly from the graveyard with Goryo's Vengeance for a hasty attack; Grafdigger's Cage completely shuts off this plan since it stops creature cards from graveyards entering the battlefield. Soul-Guide Lantern can proactively exile their graveyard before they get a Goryo's Vengeance target set up, buying a full turn of disruption. We only make a small swap here since Cage is our single best answer and running more slow, reactive artifacts doesn't help race their explosive kill; Haywire Mite is cut since its exile ability only hits noncreature permanents, giving it no direct answer to their reanimation targets.
