Sanctifier en-Vec has protection from black and from red, making it immune to Galvanic Discharge, Lightning Bolt, and Goblin Bombardment damage while also exiling red/black cards from graveyards to blunt any Fable of the Mirror-Breaker or Seasoned Pyromancer recursion. Solitude provides free interaction against Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer or Ocelot Pride before they snowball, and gains them minimal life back. This matchup is a race against their low curve aggression, so cutting slower value pieces like Cryptic Coat and Forge Anew for proactive bodies and removal keeps pace. Watch out for their Blood Moon turning off Urza's Saga and other nonbasics; nothing in the sideboard answers it directly so plan mana accordingly.
