Affinity floods the board with cheap colorless artifacts (Mishra's Bauble, Mox Opal, Tormod's Crypt, Engineered Explosives, Urza's Saga Construct tokens), and Weapons Manufacturing and Pinnacle Emissary turn each artifact spell into extra value. Consign to Memory is a cheap answer to the colorless artifact spells, and it can also counter triggered abilities such as Weapons Manufacturing's Munitions trigger or the Kappa Cannoneer and Pinnacle Emissary triggers. Kappa Cannoneer and Pinnacle Emissary themselves are coloured spells, so Consign can't counter them as spells. Replicate lets us hit several targets at once when we have spare mana. Brotherhood's End's second mode destroys all artifacts with mana value 3 or less, which wipes Mishra's Bauble, Mox Opal, Engineered Explosives, Pinnacle Emissary, Construct tokens and the rest of their cheap artifacts in one sweep. It does not touch Weapons Manufacturing, which is an enchantment, or Kappa Cannoneer, which has mana value 6. High Noon limits us to one spell per turn as well, and its damage ability costs five mana, so it is a poor fit here. Kaya's Guile's edict mode is weak against a board of cheap artifacts and tokens. Archon of Cruelty is an eight-mana top end that is hard to cast before they kill us, so these are the cuts. Keep Galvanic Discharge for Pinnacle Emissary, since its three damage kills a 3/3 but won't kill a 4/4 Kappa Cannoneer. Cannoneer also has ward {4}, so targeting it with Galvanic Discharge or Leyline Binding costs a lot of extra mana. Leyline Binding stays in as flexible removal for their best nonland permanent.
