Surgical Extraction is the real answer here, letting us proactively exile their Goryo's Vengeance or reanimation targets like Atraxa or Griselbrand from hand and graveyard before they combo off. Spell Snare and Spell Pierce are too narrow against a deck full of free spells (Solitude, Force of Negation) and high-cost bombs, so they make way for more targeted disruption.
