Living End's entire gameplan revolves around suspending Living End for {2}{B}{B} and casting it for free on the third upkeep, exiling and returning their creatures from the graveyard; Living End has no mana cost, making it a colorless spell, so Consign to Memory can actually target and counter Living End itself on the stack. It can also strip a Subtlety evoke trigger, an Endurance evoke trigger, or a cascade trigger from Shardless Agent or Violent Outburst, since those are all triggered abilities โ Street Wraith's cycling isn't a trigger so it's not a legal target. Spell Pierce is brought in to fight through their proactive noncreature spells, taxing their cascade spells and noncreature interaction alike. Mutagenic Growth, Lava Dart, and Violent Urge come out since this matchup is about disrupting their combo and racing efficiently, not combat tricks against their disruption suite of Endurance and Subtlety. Hold up interaction on their turn 3-4 to strip Living End or their key triggers, and don't overextend into Force of Negation or Subtlety.
