Grixis Reanimator wants to loot or discard Archon of Cruelty or Abhorrent Oculus and bring it back with Unearth or Persist, so Soul-Guide Lantern proactively strips their graveyard before the reanimation spell resolves, ideally deployed before they start looting with Faithless Looting. Force of Negation can stop Unearth or Persist for free, and Mystical Dispute is a cheap, efficient counter against their heavily blue-black spell suite. Metallic Rebuke is cut since it's too slow against a deck that can reanimate a threat as early as turn 1-2. Race to pressure them with Cori-Steel Cutter while holding graveyard hate and countermagic for their key reanimation turn.
