Esper Control is a mirror-ish matchup built around the same Teferi, Time Raveler, Orim's Chant, and Solitude core, so Mystical Dispute is excellent as a cheap, often-free counter to their key planeswalkers and countermagic. Surgical Extraction can strip a Narset, Parter of Veils or Teferi from their graveyard after a Consult the Star Charts, denying a recast. Spell Snare rarely lines up against their curve of Narset, Teferi, and Solitude at one and three mana, and Prismatic Ending has fewer relevant early targets in a matchup decided by planeswalkers and card advantage rather than problematic permanents. Play patiently, use Isochron Scepter with Counterspell to generate a repeatable answer, and prioritize resolving Teferi, Time Raveler to shut off their Narset and card draw.
