Boros Energy is a race — they're applying pressure with Ragavan, Guide of Souls, and Ocelot Pride while setting up to lock you out post-board with Damping Sphere (which cuts Lotus Bloom from three mana to one and taxes every spell past the first) and High Noon (which hard-stops the combo entirely). Consign to Memory is your most important sideboard card: it counters Damping Sphere, High Noon, and Vexing Bauble at instant speed, and the exiled copies can't be recast. Commandeer lets you steal a Damping Sphere or High Noon for free by pitching two blue cards, turning their hate piece into a resource. Flusterstorm comes in to fight through Orim's Chant and to generate a storm copy that can outrace Vexing Bauble by flooding the stack. Into the Flood Maw comes out because five mana is far too slow against this clock, and Spell Snare and two copies of Suppression Ray are trimmed to make room since Disrupting Shoal, Stern Scolding, and Jwari Disruption already cover their early creature threats — keeping Stern Scolding specifically for Ragavan, whose Treasure generation and spell theft can derail the combo turn.
