This is a race between two combo decks — Ruby Storm wins by chaining rituals through Ral, Monsoon Mage and finishing with Grapeshot, while you need to either counter their critical spells or assemble Goblin Charbelcher before they go off. Suppression Ray and the creature counters (Spell Snare, Stern Scolding) are poor in this matchup since Ruby Storm runs very few permanents worth taxing and very few creatures to target. Flusterstorm is the premier counter here, completely blowing out their ritual chains and Past in Flames turns; Consign to Memory exiles any spell or ability including Grapeshot storm copies. Mystical Dispute provides additional cheap interaction against their blue splash cards and is a hedge against their Orim's Chant out of the sideboard. Post-board they bring in Orim's Chant to prevent you from comboing, so leave up Disrupting Shoal and Force of Negation mana rather than tapping out on your own combo turn.
