Esper GenericBlink has only a handful of blue spells (Quantum Riddler, Teferi, and Kaito), so Mystical Dispute is only occasionally discounted. Most of the time it is a three-mana soft counter that taxes their Solitude, Flickerwisp, or removal. Teferi, Time Raveler limits them to casting spells at sorcery speed, which shuts off flashed-in Solitude, Phelia, and Orcish Bowmasters as well as instant-speed Fatal Push and Ephemerate. Its -3 can also bounce a problematic Overlord of the Balemurk or a Flickerwisp. Endurance is lower priority here, since its main upside is a modest graveyard shuffle, and Subtlety only buys tempo against their creatures, because its owner chooses the top of their library and simply redraws the card, so trim both. Colossal Skyturtle is too slow against their proactive disruption suite of Thoughtseize and Orcish Bowmasters. Keep Force of Negation in to fight their noncreature spells like Thoughtseize, Fatal Push, Ephemerate, and Prismatic Ending. It cannot counter Solitude, which is a creature spell.
