Goryo's Vengeance wants to discard Atraxa, Grand Unifier or Griselbrand and reanimate it that turn, so Surgical Extraction can strip a key reanimation target from hand, graveyard, and library once you see it in their graveyard, and Force of Despair is a great free answer that destroys any creature that entered the battlefield this turn, catching a freshly reanimated Atraxa or Griselbrand (or a hasty Emrakul-style threat) before it can do damage. Ashiok, Dream Render shuts off their fetchland-heavy manabase from finding lands and mills/exiles their graveyard on activation, disrupting both their mana and their reanimation targets. Nihil Spellbomb and Pithing Needle are cuttable since Surgical Extraction and Force of Despair are more surgical answers to their actual gameplan, and Shadowspear isn't doing enough work against a combo-oriented deck. Keep Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek in as your primary proactive disruption against their combo pieces.
