Grixis Reanimator mills itself with Thought Scour and discards Archon of Cruelty via Faithless Looting to Unearth it back for value, so Surgical Extraction on a discarded Archon of Cruelty removes the reanimation target from the graveyard, hand, and library all at once. Ashiok, Dream Render's -1 exiles their graveyard outright, stripping Archon of Cruelty and Abhorrent Oculus fuel while also shutting off any fetchland-driven search. Toxic Deluge for a small X answers their Psychic Frog and Abhorrent Oculus-generated 2/2 manifests cheaply. Inquisition's 3-or-less cap misses Archon of Cruelty, so trim it in favor of graveyard disruption that attacks their actual game plan directly.
