Living End is a graveyard-reliant combo deck, so Surgical Extraction can remove a card like Street Wraith from their graveyard to disrupt their setup, or strip a resolved Living End from the graveyard to stop them from ever escaping or recurring it. Force of Despair is a free spell that destroys all creatures that entered this turn, which blows out the entire wave of creatures that returns when Living End resolves. Nihil Spellbomb can exile their graveyard to strip away cards they've discarded or cycled for setup, and cantrips afterward so it doesn't cost a card. Note that our mainboard Nihil Spellbomb copy is already great here, so this is about adding redundancy against their setup.
